Destiny’s Meaning

 

 Destiny -- think now what it truly signifies. Is it fate? Is it the future?

 

We cannot delay destiny, but we often can and do postpone it. Destiny -- think now what it truly signifies. Is it fate? Is it the future? Is it the future events of your life that are now being fashioned by you and in which you are even now in the midst? Well, in a sense, yes, that is the picture, but not wholly.   

We are predestined for certain main events of our lives by the entity within which has decreed for us certain experiences for advancing the person involved. Destiny encompasses all this and the unfolding of these events, persons encountered, experiences, et cetera that make up our lives and change or balance our thoughts.

It is hoped, of course, that all this reacts for the better, but it is not always so for the indwelling entity decides by this thinking process how all this affects him and that naturally affects his destiny. Our thoughts, desires, feelings about all that happen to us are what truly matter, not how we talk about it for often what we say is at variance with what we really think, feel and desire.

We are complex, yet simple. It is a wonderful and a just plan of living that the Creator has for all and we cannot improve upon it.  

Life is a glorious and wonderful thing when lived with love as the foremost principle and carried out in living practice for the good of all one meets. Then the Kingdom of Heaven reigns within and all is good without and within.

 

Positive Attitudes

Contemplate only good and only good can come to you.  

 

When we contemplate the future, we must always use the positive approach.  Never dwell in the negative no matter what is your outlook at present.   

You may find those around you have, through error, been subject to accident, illness or some negative condition of mind which has become manifest in their life, but do not allow this to in any way depress you. 

We know that a sensitive mind will take on and easily accept a depressing condition which is not necessarily for you. Being of a sensitive turn of mind, you may easily become prey to the distressed condition of others. Do not do so. It does not help them and it very definitely does hurt you.  

Keep the positive, vibrant healthful thoughts in the forefront of your mind even though you must constantly battle with the self within in order to do so. Contemplate only good and only good can come to you.   

You may think you see an adverse condition. By dwelling on it and thus magnifying it, you bring it about and then the condition must be worked out. Instead, substitute positive good and know that nothing can harm you or yours. 

With a positive approach to life, you can and do keep all on the proper and healthful level of mind that controls your destiny.

Growth in Harmony

Are you expressing all that you desire in life?

 

We are the self within and all without responds to that self and the attitude towards life we most constantly maintain. 

 Are you expressing all that you desire in life? Take stock of yourself. Is your health good? This must, of course, take into consideration your mental health as well as the physical. Have you enough money to gather all your needs and perhaps a few luxuries? Have you friends and relatives about you who like to have you around?  

If you can answer “yes” to all the above questions, you are indeed rich and should be happy and successful. Indeed that would be the only state such a person could be in unless she carries the burdens of others on her shoulders.

Build Faith in self and know always that God is with you, and [you will have] strength, power, success and happiness; all states of mind that are bound to manifest in the physical world when the proper attitudes of life are taken. 

If fear predominates, treat it like all bad habits and allow only the positive, vibrant, healthful thoughts to prevail in life. They will bring you your true self. 

All the desires of life will be gratified when we carry with us the wisdom to know that all is good and what happens to us is for the best experience of the soul within; that it is our destiny brought to us by ourselves for our own greater good.

Missions in Life

How do we know our mission? Look within and you will find it amongst the strong desires of your innermost being.

 

Everyone has a mission in life and all will be given the necessary opportunity to fulfill it. Whether or not we do so is entirely dependent on us. Each one must do his share of work towards its ultimate fulfillment.

How do we know our mission? Look within and you will find it amongst the strong desires of your innermost being. These desires are not idle, but beg for achievement toward their fulfillment which is the ultimate destiny of the indwelling ego. Seek the outlet for the expression in the material of the manifestation of your deepest inner desires.   

Now, not all our wishes are the ones I am referring to, but you will know by the inner light to which ones I am in reference. We are all filled with material desires as well as the spiritual ones that are buried beneath the multitude of ideas and thoughts that constantly surround us.

Ask in the quiet to have your mission fulfilled and made clear to you, and you will see the reason for much that seems to stand in your way. Then go forth like the knights of old and find your Holy Grail.

The Wages of Sin

It has been said that, “The wages of sin is death,” and this is true.

 

It has been said that, “The wages of sin is death,” and this is true. We often find among us those who will learn no other way than to go through life abusing the body with strong drink, anesthetizing himself against reality because it is less than what he wants. He is unwilling to live with himself as he really is so he seeks escape. The events in that person’s life have not come up to what he thinks they should, and again he seeks escape wherein he can bolster his ego and feel he is somebody.  

The emotions of envy, jealousy and other base emotions have been held and have exerted their poisons throughout the body structure, injuring the cell life and causing irritations and inflammations to come about. This, aided and abetted by strong drink, has brought about chaos and the final days of reckoning. 

Surgery can take away the diseased cells, but what about the bloodstream, the life force, which is vitally affected in conditions of this kind? Relief is all that can be granted and a temporary surcease from the creeping disease which is, after all, just what the indwelling entity has decreed for himself.   

That the family of such a person must suffer is self-evident. He does not think of that until too late, and even then does not realize the widespread wake of disaster he leaves of their lives. The law of attraction comes into play here and those who have in any way affiliated themselves with this life have also to pay the wages of sin. For in so living and breaking the laws of life, they too are responsible for the life and must bear the consequences.   

Death, of course, is not meant as a cessation of life for that cannot happen, but it does mean that life here on the earth plane will no longer be possible for the body abased by the spirit cannot long continue under this reign. 

Those involved have to pick up the reins and learn to live differently perhaps than before, but certainly they too feel the effects of the life of dissipation that has encircled their lives and set into motion the law of retribution.

We give and we receive just what we have earned, no more, no less. The cause will always produce a given result and is merciless when we break the laws of God and live in such a manner.
