We must have a goal and when that is reached, we must have another goal to work toward.
The so-called wheel of life is always turning and bringing into the life change in some manner. We find change in our ideas, our way of living, our hopes and ideals. All these things change as we change and grow.
We grow out of the child into the adolescent and thus into the adult. Nothing is abrupt and always there is a pattern, a plan though we often do not see that. We need change for change is life, otherwise we would be stagnant and not eager to go forth and do and to cause change to come about for us.
Our feelings and emotions color our life experiences and, in themselves, cause great changes to take place in the individual concerned. If we become too self-satisfied, we do not strive for change in any way and this is not good.
We must have a goal and when that is reached, we must have another goal to work toward. No matter at what age in life, it is the spirit that, working through the material body and keeping young ideas, keeps going and working [for us] each in our own way and toward our own ideal in life.
Work, health, peace of mind, prosperity -- all are phases, or progress toward the goal of happiness with what one has and is in life.
