We never exist for self alone; life always involves others ...
Are we truly our brother’s keeper, or are we just here for self alone? Yes, we are, in every sense, our brother’s keeper for we could not do all for self alone or we would be existing in a world of extreme selfishness.
We cannot, of course, think or act for him, but we can influence, can help, can show the way. That is truly all anyone can do for us also, although to show love [and] interest in all our brother human does in this life will help him or her along life’s pathway. We never exist for self alone; life always involves others and always we meet them and have our lives influenced by them for a reason.
There is, as you know, a reason for everything; for every effect there is a cause. If we ignore those about us in need of love and affection or help in any way, we ourselves are inviting like conditions to come to us. No matter how we have been ill-treated in life past, we should not treat others in similar fashion.
We must be strong enough to overcome these adverse conditions and go forward in the life, helping where we can and always letting the love force be our guide and our motive power. In this way we clear the track of all obstacles that might otherwise impede our way, and then full speed ahead for greater light, and greater abundance of all things must come to us.
Throw out all negative fear-thoughts and, using this love power, guide your life through all its currents until you arrive safely on the shores of that other and greater life of the Spirit.
