We must all rid our minds of the cobwebs that enmesh them -- the cobwebs of doubt, of fear, of inferiority, of lack or whatever the particular web you have been weaving.
Let in the sunshine of positive, vibrant thought of good in all things. [Let in thoughts] of love. The webs will be dissipated and your life will be a changed one. It sounds simple and it is simple, but it is far easier said than done for old habits of thought persist, and the first thing we know we are again caught in a web that has us in its toils.
They are not strong, these webs, but often we do not know how or [do not] really want to break them, strange as it may seem, and so we go on struggling in the same old way, never realizing our imprisonment.
It is so nice to be free, to think clearly and concisely with love in our hearts for all. God’s Kingdom on earth is ours if we but follow this simple precept, but man is blind and cannot see the light.
Do not look down, but look up into the hills and the sky and see the grandeur of life and the oneness of it all for we are indeed a vital part andworking with the whole Universe or God-Power for greater light.
The use word “toils” used on the last line of the second paragraph is now obsolete, but means “a long net, or series of nets” according to the sixth printing of the American Heritage Dictionary (1970.)
