What we are, what we need, what we have is all a direct or indirect result of the inward life we lead.
Peace will not come to the world until it comes to mankind as a whole.
There are many injustices to be reckoned with before the millennium can be a way of life, bringing to the inhabitants of the earth plane the peace, harmony, joy and graciousness of life that can be truly called the millennium.
The truth of the matter is that all must start with the self within and then, when that end is accomplished, the manifested world without will conform, will change because it must.
All environmental change really comes from within. We do not realize this, but it is true nevertheless. What we are, what we need, what we have is all a direct or indirect result of the inward life we lead. If we suffer poverty, we need that environment to teach us something necessary to the ego, to bring about a desired change in the spiritual self within. If we live in the lap of luxury perhaps that too is a challenge to the indwelling ego to see just how he or she manages the life, and it is always needed or it would not be so.
Nothing is so by luck or mere chance; no, there are the laws of life that are constantly at work bringing to us change necessary to develop the ego to its best expression. This does not always fit in with the desires of the indwelling spirit, but remember it is not permanent but always is in a state of flux or change. And as we think and expect so it comes to be, so that we are indeed masters who can and do change our lives for the better. Or, if ignorant of the laws, we change them often for worse conditions.
So live and expect and have faith that the true spiritual desires of the self within, if right, will in time manifest themselves for you in peace and harmony in all ways of your life.
