What you are today, the fruits of your labors in the past, are evident on every hand.
We are all known by the fruits of our labor. By that is meant, it is results that count. Everyone has an ideal which, whether he is aware of it or not, he is trying to bring into manifestation in the life. Many are sidetracked and the ideal is buried like a treasure buried in sand. Perhaps it is forgotten in the hectic rush of everyday life today. We must dig it up and examine it and then see if we can’t bring our ideal into being.
What you are today, the fruits of your labors in the past, are evident on every hand. We are the result of our habitual thought which, in turn, becomes habit. If we do not like what we find, we must turn about and try for a better manifestation through the material of the self, through improved thought, exchanging the negative for the positive and going on in whatever field we have chosen to manifest our labors.
If, for example, our home and family has received all our attention and work and we now find that this is no longer necessary, what then? We should not stagnate and look back on the past with longing. No, the future holds much for us and we must go on, exchanging our old ideas for new ones and working in a new field of endeavor.
We may continue to be in the home and work there also, but we should extend the horizon and push on with greater effort toward our ideal.
Do not hide your light under a bushel, but find a market for it, and you will be surprised at the new world that will open up to you in all directions.
