When you practice smiling, even though your inner feelings may be quite the opposite, you instinctively bring about the conditions which you are practicing. It is strange, but, over a period of time, it always works.
One cannot act out a thing for many times before it becomes second nature or habitual, and it certainly is an excellent habit to acquire. It will carry a person a long way and overcome many obstacles that otherwise might seem insurmountable. Smiles are reflections of inward feelings outwardly depicted, and bring answering smiles to the faces of those you encounter in your daily routine.

We are all so full of the seriousness of living, its challenges, its conflicts and its current troubles that we overlook the important little things of life.
“Smile and the world smiles with you. Frown and you frown alone.” How true this is. A smile is contagious and lights up the countenance in a beautiful way. The plainest person becomes almost beautiful when smiling.
Act the part. Smile even when there is nothing to smile about and see the world from the angle of positive, smiling assurance of the good life.
