Yes, there must be a meaning to life for one does not exist purely and simply for pleasure or pain. The experiences one goes through are for purposes of learning how best to live the life and to progress and go forward into the light.
What is the light? Pure Intelligence, pure undefiled love -- the God-power which all possess within and are constantly striving to expand and draw out to bring forth the best in life for them and for others. Love is the highest and purest of all emotions of living and gives to life its reason to be.
Now, there are many kinds of love, but the love of mates, true mates for each other comes to all at some time in their lives and then it is unmistakable and is always recognized when it is fully matured.
Once this love comes to a being on the path of life they never lose it, but are always together if they so desire to be. Sometimes there are conditions that require separations, but it is only temporary -- one is never again lost to the other. They are as one in thought and deed and constantly grow and expand into the greater from which all stems and are alight with the love-power which at some time illumines all.
All are in the process of becoming true mates and recognizing this fact. Feeling and desire make this a necessary plan of creation and one in which all can grow best into the God-power or Pure Intelligence.
