Within a year, Polaroid had marketed another substantial improvement in its black-and-white panchromatic roll film. Type 44 had a speed of ASA 400, double that of Type 42. This was taken with a very rudimentary close-up lens that looked a lot like a bottle cap that attached to the lens of the Model 95 by just pushing it on in place.

This photo was taken without a close-up lens. Just the basic Model 95. Lighting in both photos was probably a no. 2 photoflood in a Luxo drawing board lamp.
