Channels of Light and Love

We are all channels of light and love and it behooves us to make greater use of this faculty so as to gain in spiritual growth.

 

When we turn the current of life on and let the light come through, we are a perfect channel in which to gain whatever knowledge or wisdom we may need through the power of Spirit. It is somewhat like lighting a lamp. We may plug it in and turn it on, but unless the bulb is good it will not work, and so it is with us. 

We may be quiet within and wait, but perhaps there may be too many other things on our minds and that crowds out the messages that otherwise might flow in freely. We must learn to keep these impressions and idle thoughts in the background and allow only the clear messages to come into our consciousness. It is not easy, for habit is strong, but each time it is tried and is a success then it becomes easier the next time. 

We are all channels of light and love and it behooves us to make greater use of this faculty so as to gain in spiritual growth. 

We can if we so desire establish a clear line to Spirit, one in which we greatly benefit by each day having, at a precise time, a quiet period of meditation so that our stream of conscious thought is quieted and the Spirit can take over and give to us thoughts and ideas that will be helpful to us in our life. Try to, as much as is humanly possible, keep a regular time for this and the rewards will be far greater than you can know.

Listen Within

“Be still and know.” is a good admonition. 

 

We all have what might be referred to as telephones or wires within us that are capable of being utilized by the Spirit world if we plug them in, so to speak. In other words this simile is meant, of course, only to show that we can, if we so desire, commune with Spirit. 

However the discourse or the mental pictures can be only as good as the instrument. If we persistently clog the channel with refuse or mental negation what can we expect in return? We will only get out what we put in, no more no less. But the opportunity is still here and if we keep on trying one day we will be surprised at the clear channel and the information possible for us to receive. Ours is the challenge, ours is the opportunity for good or ill as we see fit. All inspiration is so conceived whether we believe this to be true or not. 

“Be still and know.” is a good admonition. Quiet the outer and listen to the voice within and see the mental pictures that may present themselves to more clearly point the way or to show you what you can expect in the future, or even to warn you of danger so that you may be prepared. 

Wonderful are the opportunities given to mankind to use if he but can realize that he possesses them. Use and gain, not abuse or allow to remain idle, and so we leave you to ponder these thoughts.

God is Love

The saying, “God is love.” is surely true and that is why we so earnestly seek to be in attunement with God ...

 

The hub of the universe is love. All that pertains to love is good and, in truth,  we all strive for love and its expression, though to many this is not known. 

Everything in the life is expressed and manifested because of this strong inherent desire. All good music, good deeds, inventions, in fact, all good is due to this emotion, this basic desire of our innermost nature. All seek it and, if truly desired above all else, it will be found. 

The saying, “God is love.” is surely true and that is why we so earnestly seek to be in attunement with God, and in the love vibration of our infinite being. This state brings us a peace, a satisfaction that in no other way can be found, and this state of being too is only found within. 

All without may be a manifestation of the inward state it is true, but unless correctly directed by the love power within, one is not manifesting the vibrations of love. If this were true the world would be at peace, there could be no wars, or unrest, no internal strife and we would indeed have a utopia upon the earth. 

Mankind apparently needs chastening, however, before he will see the light and truly express the God-power which he is inherently capable of expressing.

Time and thought will bring this about.

Wisdom is Within

 

 It [Wisdom] is the God-power within that through our efforts becomes unfolded and expressed in the life.

 

Knowledge is something man acquires from his experiences here on the earth plane, while wisdom is inherent. It is the God-power within that through our efforts becomes unfolded and expressed in the life. It is of the ages past and is within, never can it be acquired from without for that is the province of knowledge.

When we become quiet within, the voice of wisdom speaks to us and tells us what to do, solves our problems easily, if we but let it, and gives us a peace of mind that mere knowledge never could.  

The wisdom of Solomon is the inner light of truth that has become unveiled and plain to him. It will become so to us if we learn to listen and to heed the voice within.

There is no earthly substitute for wisdom and it cannot be purchased. It is already ours if we can only realize what it can do for us. 

It is intuition, knowledge, experience, thought, inspiration, all in one great attribute known to us as wisdom, acquired in past ages by us, and with the God-power we are able to utilize it if we will. 

Mind Power

The mind power of most people remains untapped, like a mine containing diamonds in a vein yet unreached. 

 

The mind power of most people remains untapped, like a mine containing diamonds in a vein yet unreached. We do not reach these treasures easily for they must be earned, must be worked for because in no other way can they be attained.  

Once we have even a glimpse of the wealth of power they can bring to us, we will not rest until they are obtained, and yet we cannot struggle too hard for them. We must become truly quiet within in order to get to the depth of the mine of the mind. 

Then when we suddenly, or following a long period of quiet times, finally arrive where we can tap this rich vein of the spirit, we know we have arrived. There is then no doubt, no fears, for all becomes clear, lucid and we can read the thoughts of others and see and diagnose their ills. 

Indeed there are no secrets, no thing that will not yield itself to this hidden God-power so much desired, so much sought for by those who are truly wise. “Seek and ye shall find. Ask and it will be opened unto you.” Admonitions, yes, and we seldom take them to heart and truly believe them as we should.

Deep quiet pools of thought yield rich treasure.

Please the Inner Man

 To do that which we know is right and to self-approve all we do is to be really successful.

 

We all should listen to the still small voice within that in the quiet can and does give counsel to us when it is needed, if we but heed and listen. This is the voice of conscience and of God, one and the same.

We must not think of God in some far away place for that is not so, he is within each one of us. To know this and to give heed to this is to have success in all we may undertake to do.   

To others it may appear that we have anything but success, but that is because they do not know and cannot realize that every step along the way is a success of sorts. We may never win the fickle plaudits of the world at large, but if we please the world and please not the self within, that is not success.

We must please in every way the inner man, the God-power within us. We must have perfect faith that this is possible and we can do it. We must banish all fear, all negation. Dare and do for this, and this alone, means success in life. To do that which we know is right and to self-approve all we do is to be really successful.   

Act only for the good, knowing you have the approval of the conscience within. Fear not the consequences, but know this. From this stems happiness and self-esteem.
