Material World

Love is the all-powerful thought and faith is its handmaiden and consort.

 

We live, move and have our being in a so-called material world. How material is it actually? Is it not all really spiritual when you come to analyze it? 

All material substances can be found to be of a greatly condensed substance that is held together by vibratory force. In essence the material is anything but solid, but is formed from substances in cohesion one with another. 

We ourselves, however solid we may seem, are evolved from the same sort of substances we find around and about us, differing, of course, because of divine mind, which we all have and which actually is in all nature as well.  

We have the wonderful attribute of thought, which in turn brings about action, and our very environment and all conditions about and around us are caused by the all-powerful thought process ever going on. We are, in truth, what we think, and the knowledge of our true divinity is invaluable to us to bring to us success in all we endeavor to achieve.

Love is the all-powerful thought and faith is its handmaiden and consort. Both we must have within us in order to gain the Kingdom of Heaven that lies within, the keys of which are in your own hands.

Changes Bring Changes

 

Look forward to change and great blessings from the God-power within always working to bring about better conditions for us in our lives.

 

Changes bring changes. After all, life is but a series of changes in every department. We must always welcome change for we know it is for a purpose and only in this way can we grow and live. We would not wish to stay still no matter how desirable our present state of being and environment appears to be, for there is always room for improvement. 

Although change does not always mean improvement, if we are living in a high vibration and expect only the best, only the best will be attracted to us.

What we are and what we have today has depended upon our thoughts and actions of yesterday. And so it is that the future stems out of our past and goes on brighter and more fair if we have so decreed it for ourselves by our life. 

If it is otherwise and we find illness or lack in our life, we know that somewhere along the line we have erred. Then we must change and about face in order to rectify that which is negative in our pathway and obstructing the good that should be coming into our life.

We cannot blame others for any condition in which we find ourselves, but should realize that we are often the instigators of the negative instances that have materialized in our lives.

Mountains to Climb

The mountain seems unbelievably difficult to ascend at times. 

 

We all have mountains to climb and in order to gain the peak and raise the flag of conquest we must meet with many setbacks, many disheartening events, many worries and fears to be overcome before this can become a reality.

The mountain seems unbelievably difficult to ascend at times. We are often tempted to give up and to go back and perhaps continue to live in the valley where there are no difficulties to overcome. But this easy way out is not for us, for the fires of desire to overcome are strong within us, and so we push on.  

Slowly, oh so slowly at times, surrounded by darkness, by fear of a wrong step that could plunge us off into unknown dangers (and often does just that to the unwary traveler) we plod on carefully. 

Finally from afar, perhaps when a cloud is lifted, we can see our goal. We realize it is worth all the effort, all the strength we can muster to push on and reach the peak of our mountain where we can plant the flag of success and look back to see where we gradually worked up the steep slopes, ignoring the crevasses and the slippery ways and, in spite of all, going on and never giving up.  

Then we can stand proudly erect and feel the great exalted love and peace that only comes to those who seek it and eventually, through great struggle, find the top of the mountain and plant the flag of successful achievement in a life of love and peace.

Laws of Life

 

 The most important law, and the one that is so often broken by unseeing man, is the law of love.

Life is, was and ever shall be, for life is spirit and life is all in all, and through all, in every form and in every department of being. At first thought, this may appear to be not true but truth is sometimes more strange than otherwise. Yes, life is all there is and nothing is ever lost. What appears to us to be solid is, in reality, not at all so, for it is formed through myriads of infinitesimal atoms all of which are in constant vibration or motion and held together by the law of attraction and the law of polarity. Both laws, like all laws of nature, are in operation at all times and in all levels of life.

We are all subject to these laws and other perhaps lesser known laws of God. We cannot change them, they are eternal and in operation for our good and the good of all on the earth plane. We hear, we feel, we see, we touch, we smell and all through the laws of God. We live, move, and we participate and are a part of all in all. 

We are able through the power of the free will to keep or to break the laws in operation, but we cannot break them without repercussions of disaster when we are foolish enough to do so. However, it is only in this way that we learn and grow and make of life a worthwhile endeavor.  

The most important law, and the one that is so often broken by unseeing man, is the law of love. This law is the first to bring about our downfall if we cannot make it work for us as it was intended. It is this broken law that causes broken homes, all selfishness, jealousy, envy, pride and so many other errors that cause such tragedy in the human life. Keep this law and you will find all the others will follow.

All is Change

  

All is change in life whether we recognize it as a fact or not.

 

If progress is to come to us we must welcome change in our life and its varied facets, for it is vital to life itself. All is change in life whether we recognize it as a fact or not. If it were not so we would be at a standstill and that is never good. We must go on and accept each and every change in life.  

It is natural to want security in life, but in actual fact we are always secure if we but believe we are for security is but a state of mind.  

Nothing is permanent and though we may feel we are secure in our position in business or in the home, something always can come in to cause change. Oftentimes, though it is unrecognized, it is of great benefit to the people involved. We cannot see always the outcome of what change will bring about in the life, but we sometimes fight that which is for our benefit because of fear -- fear of the unknown, fear of lack in some form, fear of change, and so it goes.  

People do not realize that all life consists of change, and that changes will bring changes and [then] life is viewed from a larger standpoint because we have broadened the view and stepped out of a shell in which, inadvertently, we had been keeping ourselves. 

The horizon is brighter than we had imagined and we find that we like change and have a feeling that it is for our ultimate good, but we ourselves must determine this and constantly overcome errors of thought that have previously held us captive.

God is Love

The saying, “God is love.” is surely true and that is why we so earnestly seek to be in attunement with God ...

 

The hub of the universe is love. All that pertains to love is good and, in truth,  we all strive for love and its expression, though to many this is not known. 

Everything in the life is expressed and manifested because of this strong inherent desire. All good music, good deeds, inventions, in fact, all good is due to this emotion, this basic desire of our innermost nature. All seek it and, if truly desired above all else, it will be found. 

The saying, “God is love.” is surely true and that is why we so earnestly seek to be in attunement with God, and in the love vibration of our infinite being. This state brings us a peace, a satisfaction that in no other way can be found, and this state of being too is only found within. 

All without may be a manifestation of the inward state it is true, but unless correctly directed by the love power within, one is not manifesting the vibrations of love. If this were true the world would be at peace, there could be no wars, or unrest, no internal strife and we would indeed have a utopia upon the earth. 

Mankind apparently needs chastening, however, before he will see the light and truly express the God-power which he is inherently capable of expressing.

Time and thought will bring this about.

Destiny

 

... the destiny of each one of us is in our own hands ...

 

Destiny is a word fraught with meaning.  Does it, as many think, mean a preordained future, one that is entirely irrevocable? 

No, not in reality, for are we not spoken of as “masters of our fate?”  If this were not so, and we could not ourselves change this, fear would be rampant, and righteously so, for we would be but slaves of fate. No, destiny means much more than that.   

Often the important steps in our life are preordained by us before we are reincarnated here, for we have lessons to learn and rewards or punishments to help us on our way. 

We do not, of course, wish punishment, but justice always prevails and the law of cause and effect is never deterred. So if it becomes necessary to the evolvement of the entity, even punishment is preordained. Overcoming obstacles that are placed in one’s path could be the form of punishment, and in this way we learn and overcome and go on into a higher light (or consciousness).   

This law of progression is ever with us and we can only learn through lessons that are needed by the soul whether they be pleasant experiences or the reverse. However, the destiny of each one of us is in our own hands, and as always we are at the helm and can make or break our ship.

Easter

 Nature, or God, is at this season manifesting in every way the renewal of life in the material and thereby showing to thoughtful souls that this law also is carried out in the spiritual life.

 

This is the season when all life is being renewed.

New beginnings, the pulsating life throbs of Mother Nature, are felt all over the land and the very air is charged with a new vibration; the vibration of eternal life.

We feel the urge to get out in the open, to do things and to truly life in every sense of the word; to recharge our thought life and change outwardly to conform to this conception of renewal.

Like batteries that have needed recharging, our lives respond to the vital feel of growth, of change of a spiritual and material rebirth.

Do not try to carry along old thoughts that you should have discarded years ago; thoughts of defeat, of disillusionment, of despair, all negative vibrations.

Renew with the joyous Easter, the eternal spring and stand with positive, peaceful faith in all good, in the God-power within.

Easter is so misinterpreted in the Christian world. People do not go deeply enough into the spiritual significance of the Easter season.

Nature, or God, is at this season manifesting in every way the renewal of life in the material and thereby showing to thoughtful souls that this law also is carried out in the spiritual life.

Jesus’ life on earth exemplified all this and he went forth fearless, full of faith in the all good and by his perfect life made an example for all mankind to live by -- our elder brother in the spiritual life.

Easter is expressed throughout all the kingdoms, the animal, the vegetable, yes, even the material; for all is life, and all is God, in whom we live, move and have our being.

How can we fail when we realize with the fullness of spiritual thought the true meaning of Easter? That life always is.

There is only change and progress, another name for the evolution of the life forces through the material to the spiritual, a never ending upward spiral, a road to God and perfect life.

Never Give In

We must never give in to any form of negativeness, but always keep trying and our problems will be worked out. 

 

There are in life many subtle influences that work on us at all times, making sometimes for indecision, weakness, futility, and their opposites too, strength, power and positiveness in all forms.

There are times when, as we say, the tide is out and nothing seems to go aright, while at other times it may be flood tide and all seems to break for us in all we attempt to do.  

Should we then adhere only to these specific times to do what we feel is what needs to be done, or wait until we feel the tides with us? No, our own mind will often prevail and throw off the adverse powers if we are strong enough in our desires to make the will work for us in spite of obstacles put in our path.  

We must never give in to any form of negativeness, but always keep trying and our problems will be worked out. It may be at times more difficult than at another time, nevertheless we should not let that or anything else deter us from our objective. 

We should be masters of self and that is what all are working towards no matter what he or she may think to the contrary.   

We can and we must keep going no matter what happens so that we can win the battle over self and triumph over adversity, using it only as a stepping stone to our goal. We have much to gain and nothing to lose by this attitude so keep going, lift up your eyes unto the stars and know that you can win.

Think Correctly

Think correctly and you will automatically act correctly.

 

All who now manifest on this earth plane of expression in life have lived before and, of course, since there is no death, have always lived for all was, is and ever shall be.

We are not put here to live lives of idleness and luxury, but to grow spiritually and to become more aware of the possibilities of life. We must, in spite of obstacles that are ever present, push on in life growing and ever trying to vibrate on a higher plane of expression.

Earth life is likened to a kindergarten as to the other planes of expression. As we become more enlightened we become aware that this must be so. All are even now on differing planes of thought mentally and that, after all, is the way we truly live for it is only in the mental that we can express in the physical plane of life.   

We think, therefore we are. First thought, then action and, of course, reaction for each action too is creative and brings other actions into being. 

Like the stone thrown into the pool, the circles ever widen and go on and on expressing -- an example to us of what we start in the world of thought and action.

Think correctly and you will automatically act correctly.
