Spiritual Awareness

 

Poverty of the mind is therefore the only real poverty and this is also true of wealth.

 

Spirit is all, and is everywhere present. It is all a matter of awareness. We tune in to our own vibratory rate whether it is on a material plane of thought or a higher spiritual vibration.  

This is actually what is meant by varying planes of thought, for this is a mental world and our concept of it may vary greatly from our neighbor’s. Our thought world is always carried with us whether we move from New England to the far flung Pacific for it is all the same and truly all we really possess.   

Our riches lie simply in our spiritual outlook on life or our poverty, as the case may be, rests solely on our outlook. Many a person poor in the world’s material goods is far richer in the true values he holds mentally. Therefore, he is really rich for the mental outlook determines our destiny and brings to us that which we expect, whether it be good or bad. It is a law and one that is always at work.   

Poverty of the mind is therefore the only real poverty and this is also true of wealth. That is all we can carry with us into the Spiritual realm of life -- our own mental outlook, our spiritual awareness or the lack of it. 

Does it not then appear to your reason that mental outlook and spiritual awareness is all important? Think on this and you will find that it is so.

Reflections

We constantly reflect what we are, and see in others what we look for.  

 

As you look out at the world through the windows of the soul, what do you see? Is it good, or is it bad or just indifferent? What you see, of course, is but a reflection of the inner condition of the indwelling soul. We constantly reflect what we are, and see in others what we look for.  

Naturally there are exceptions, for often we find antagonism in others that should not be there for it is unmerited, and yet, there it is. We should, in a case like that, simply ignore it and see only what we would like to see. In that way we help actually to bring about the desired condition rather than add more antagonism to the already charged atmosphere.

We all know by this time that thoughts are felt and those we constantly hold in our aura are there to confound us. Often if not positive and good they react to our detriment.  

We cannot be too careful in weeding out these undesirables and substitute thoughts of good, positive, vibrant helpfulness. It is certainly worth every effort on our part to do just this and it will take our constant watchfulness to accomplish this feat. 

Everything worthwhile takes patient, constant effort and real work to bring about what we so earnestly desire in our lives, but we must keep trying and, in trying, we are bound to succeed.

Believe -- Think Big

Believe and it is so. Think big and, if all else is good in your life, it will be added unto you.

 

Supply is always available if we but believe.  

There are the mountain tops of life in which we are at our peak of joy, plenty, harmony and all the good things of life. 

There are also the valleys in which supply has dwindled perhaps to almost nothing, joy is non-existent and the negative qualities all seem to predominate.  

Then too there is the plane of levelness in which things go along pretty well, neither extreme being present; life seems to almost be self-sustaining and we somehow find, at times, even an indifference about it all. 

But that is life, and in its infinite variety itself there is always promise. We never stand still really unless we choose to stagnate and few would willingly subscribe to that.  

We all have different lessons to learn of life and many, because of this fact, cannot understand others and the great problems they must face. There are many whose lives remain uneventful while others are at full tide almost always and attract all sorts of good. It is no accident that this is so, there is no chance, or luck that causes this. It is all due to the indwelling entity and the auric field of thought constantly held to.

Believe and it is so. Think big and, if all else is good in your life, it will be added unto you. These laws of life are always at work for us if we but believe and know that they are true.

Duality

Dual -- two-fold --  male and female -- laws of God.

 

In life we find everything is dual. We have two eyes, two nostrils, two lips, two arms, two legs, et cetera. There are two parts to the brain, the heart and so it is throughout.  

Man is not meant to go throughout eternity alone. All have a soul-mate and if not in this life then it is discovered in spirit life so that the law of duality is fulfilled. 

Many know of the aching loneliness that is not assuaged even by the mate one has in life. This is because they are not true mates. Marriage often is made for convenience, for opportunity or for fear of being alone in life rather than for the reason it should occur, as in the great love of souls who are truly mated. 

Duality is a law and one little known or understood by the majority of mankind however learned they may be. This law is not for man alone; it also includes the animal and vegetable kingdoms and so on throughout so that even the duality of divinity is a truth to be discovered.   

Our true nature in God is dual and it is expressed throughout all nature, or God in manifestation.

Peace Within

 What is ardently desired is possible to achieve, but one must first have peace within himself ...

 

Peace is within the grasp of all people and all truly want peace whether or not the realization of this is there. What is ardently desired is possible to achieve, but one must first have peace within himself before it can be expressed outwardly. This truth is always evident in all departments of being.

In other words, what we believe we are exists for us and becomes manifest to us in our world, our environment. If we are within at peace, in perfect harmony of mind and body, expressing health, plenty and, paramount of all, love, we are then peace. Heaven, the kingdom of God, is within and we outwardly express the conditions of our within (our minds) at all times. 

If we desire to express greater happiness, love, peace, or whatever we need at the time, we must believe, must know we can change conditions that now may exist into greater potentials for our life by thought. 

Thoughts are things, and have power, great power, so we must only let in those thoughts that have the powers we need and want to better express our life upon this earth plane.

We must work at it constantly until it becomes habit and then we are the expression in life we have believed and desired. Act as if you have it now, believe it and make it so and it will be manifested unto you.

Please the Inner Man

 To do that which we know is right and to self-approve all we do is to be really successful.

 

We all should listen to the still small voice within that in the quiet can and does give counsel to us when it is needed, if we but heed and listen. This is the voice of conscience and of God, one and the same.

We must not think of God in some far away place for that is not so, he is within each one of us. To know this and to give heed to this is to have success in all we may undertake to do.   

To others it may appear that we have anything but success, but that is because they do not know and cannot realize that every step along the way is a success of sorts. We may never win the fickle plaudits of the world at large, but if we please the world and please not the self within, that is not success.

We must please in every way the inner man, the God-power within us. We must have perfect faith that this is possible and we can do it. We must banish all fear, all negation. Dare and do for this, and this alone, means success in life. To do that which we know is right and to self-approve all we do is to be really successful.   

Act only for the good, knowing you have the approval of the conscience within. Fear not the consequences, but know this. From this stems happiness and self-esteem.

Loneliness

The cure?  Briefly it is this -- greater faith in God, in self and in others.

 

On the earth plane of life’s experiences there are many who are lonely -- lonely even in the presence of others or when they seemingly have much. It is truly almost a disease this loneliness and is more widespread than is commonly supposed.

We in the light, who see things and people as they really are find this factor hard to combat for it is often deep-seated and hard to eradicate. Habits are a long time in forming and these make the task even harder.   

Many a soul who is apparently gregarious and at least outwardly friendly, we find in his innermost thoughts there are many fears, for that primarily constitutes loneliness; it all stems from fear thoughts. Fear of being alone, fear of the future, fear of death, fear of lack of courage and many others too numerous for this space, and all causing distress to the person who is affected by these long-held fear thoughts.  

The cure?  Briefly it is this -- greater faith in God, in self and in others. Lack of faith is a primary cause of this malady. We suggest to the afflicted to keep affirming faith, confidence in all and to know that all is good and all will be well.

The Power of Thought

Thought is indeed a force and is felt by others so that our own thought is all important ...

 

There are always those who will impose their will on you if you are not on a positive plane of vibration. When one becomes positive and knows, not just feels on a vibration of power, but has true knowledge that this is so, then he can overcome another’s vibration by his own power of thought. Thought is indeed a force and is felt by others so that our own thought is all important and can be felt by others in our auric vibratory rate.

Each one in his auric field has his thoughts registered and if they are merely negative forces then the other person, of course, has the advantage; the power and the trend of thought is always in his favor. Watch then the thoughts we hold in our daily life about ourselves and our conditions and about others so that our influence may be felt for good and be all-powerful and full of positive force not negative doubt and incapacity.  

We are indeed what we think, it becomes our world and we are king or queen of that kingdom of thought holding sway or letting the thoughts rule. We are the ones to choose and if we choose correctly we are in command of any and all situations.

Unfoldment

Life is what we make it and decree for ourselves.

 

All unfoldment comes from within. A developed intuition -- hunches, inspiration, ideas, imagination or whatever it is called, is all a matter of soul growth.  

Everyone is capable of it, true, but all are on different rungs of the ladder, so to speak, as all are not vibrating on a high plane of thought. Unless one is vibrating on a high plane of thought, one is not receiving the highest and best from Spirit through his own forces, and not necessarily able to receive them unless receptive.  

 Many receive because their thoughts are on a good vibratory force, but do not realize that they are tuned in to Spirit when they are in a thoughtful meditative period. They simply know that their minds function best this way, not realizing their own great potential.

On the other hand, the higher Spiritual forces cannot penetrate the lower, more material and heavy vibrations of negative thought and consequent errors, therefore the persons so minded are completely unaware of the higher forces of life and cannot unfold until they themselves raise their vibrations by ridding themselves of these low forces of life.

Life is what we make it and decree for ourselves. God is not mocked, justice is always being meted out, and we grow and unfold or continue to dwell in error until we finally, in desperation perhaps, desire to be rid of the low conditions of life.

Negative Dynamite

When people learn to use a mental trash barrel and constantly guard their thoughts, then they will no longer manifest disease and troubles.

 

When people hold thoughts that originate with envy, jealousy, hatred, revenge and other negative emotions behind them, they are playing with dynamite. These very dark, negative emotions take over the mind and play havoc with the physical bodies of those who harbor these thoughts. 

There is a little-known law that is always in operation that makes punishment immediate for these thoughts and subsequent actions, whether we are aware of it or not. At first it perhaps is too subtle to notice, but after holding these negative forces in the mind over a long period of time, they manifest in the physical as disease, or as illness and that is the true cause of disease. It does indeed originate in the mind.  

People may also harbor fear thoughts and they too, being negative, bring about their particular manifestations of nervousness and diseases of the nervous system.  

When people realize they themselves bring on their own ills and alone are responsible for their destiny, then they will destroy these thought forms when they first come into the mind and quickly substitute some good positive love thoughts that generate health and wellbeing for the personality.
