Life is not really mysterious or hard to penetrate. Its laws are simple, straightforward and just.
What we give, we receive. By that is meant not necessarily material things, but a blessing of the Spirit. This is the greatest of all gifts and one which benefits all who receive it. When we are kind, even to those who are unkind to us, we receive, though we realize it not, for it is a law of life that for whatever is given something is received in return.
Life is not really mysterious or hard to penetrate. Its laws are simple, straightforward and just. Cause and effect in action; reap and sow, give and receive, love and be loved. It is, you see, simple and good and so rewarding to live according to these simple rules.
Another one seems to be, “He who has, gets.” Crudely put, but there is truth there. All who have good qualities receive more, all who have of anything seem to be able to acquire more, so there again is the law working for us.
How can we lose if we have right thought, followed by right action? You cannot lose for the law is working for you. Sow the good deeds born of good, kind thoughts unselfishly given. Because of this, the benefits received are greater than you know.
