...when each day sees a little gain a bit more harmony and peace, greater love and courage, then we know we are on the right track expanding and growing in the light of God’s love.
Every day we are in the process of growth. We are all striving in one way or another to grow toward the light as we see it. Later on the light may become brighter; we may become enabled better to see the way because we become more spiritally unfolded, but each day shows a little growth if we work in the right.
There are those, of course, who are content to stay more or less at a standstill and stagnate, but at some time in their lives they will again reach for and seek the light and go forth and grow.
A few, tragically, seem to grow in the darknes and feel they are downtrodden and then, instead of reaching for the light of understanding of their plight, they become bitter. Their lives turn inward in themselves and become twisted, dwarfed and, in many cases, ugly baecause then crimes flourish and only tragedy can come forth until they too once again seek the light.
The road back is long, hard and fraught with much misery and they then need a helping hand from those whose light is bright enough to overcome the dangers and see ony the good that can be brought forth.
So when each day sees a little gain, a bit more harmony and peace, greater love and courage, then we know we are on the right track expanding and growing in the light of God’s love.
