I'm reminded by Leif Peng, whose excellent and enormous compilation of illustration entitled Today's Inspiration, that today is Roy Doty's 90th birthday.
Since Roy Doty was my inspiration as a young cartoonist just after World War II, I can't let the day pass. I hope to add more, but for now I offer a couple of recent photos of Roy at his drawing table, snatched off my computer screen from IMAGE magazine, published by his alma mater.

God Bless you Roy, many happy returns!
Are you, Roy, aware that someone has issued a new version of Is Europe Necessary containing your art work? It is being sold on line as a new (2012) edition. Just sayin'

Roy: Are you aware that someone is selling the book, Is Europe Necessary on line. It contains your illustrations/art. It appears that someone is just printing a cheap versions of the book---ignoring the copyrights. Please let me know if you know about this. Does the publishers (Holt and Winston...now Reinheart, Hold Winston) know about this?
I am a friend of Diana Deutsch ( wife of late author Ronald Deutsch). Let me know what you know please.
