Grant Hamilton designed this poster as well. Click on it to enlarge it. It's a fabulous design job and immediately obvious to me that he is an outstanding designer as well as all of the above. I cautioned him however to keep his day job as designers by and large are an impoverished lot in today's economy.
Dr. Grant and his assistant drove through a howling wet northeaster two days ago to visit and tape a segment here for the documentary, Time Zero, the last year of Polaroid film, promoted in the poster above.
We spent seven hours discussing what it was like in the early days of Polaroid going all the way back to 1955 and when Stan Calderwood and I began the graphic identity program that is documented here as The Branding of Polaroid.
Now I have an idea how much a detailed filmed interview can fry the brain of the interviewee and I'm relying on his applying more of his impressive skills to editing my scattered thoughts. For more about Grant and his work, please click on the links below.
