This was originally run on 17 September 2004. She was Number One Twisted Sister. The text was: Al Franken's Date from Hell. She of the long blonde tresses falling from visibly darker roots, but let's stop there because that's HER style. Imagine getting fired from a press gig covering the Democratic Party Convention? Franken has her on the cover of his Lies, Lies book, up there with Bill O'Reilly. As Groucho Marx used to say on his quiz show, "You make a wonderful couple."

She's Time's cover girl this week. Must have been a dull news week, no pun intended.

In lieu of scathing political comment, here's a breath of fresh vacation air, the delicate beauty of Michelle Pfeiffer.

Heather Locklear?

03 June 1999. This was first published five years ago and has remained my most popular caricature. Some search engines identify it as Heather, but I'm not sure I had her in mind. I was more concerned with the gratuitous violence that permeates most network and cable channels. I don't see anything sexy about a woman with a handgun squeezing off lethal rounds as if she were squirting a water gun at a pool party. Five years later we continue with television violence but are cautioned to cover bare breasts of courthouse statues per order of John Ashcroft, Attorney General of the United States of America.
