I'm reminded by Leif Peng, whose excellent and enormous compilation of illustration entitled Today's Inspiration, that today is Roy Doty's 90th birthday.
Since Roy Doty was my inspiration as a young cartoonist just after World War II, I can't let the day pass. I hope to add more, but for now I offer a couple of recent photos of Roy at his drawing table, snatched off my computer screen from IMAGE magazine, published by his alma mater.
