Roese also did the dust jackets for 1930s editions of P.G. Wodehouse's "Laughing Gas" and "Young Men in Spats" from Sun Dial Press, which seems to have been a reprint house for Doubleday. Both these jackets, oddly enough, managed to feature revealingly costumed popsies.
